Isn't this beautiful? I love it. The bald eagle is the national symbol of the United States. The blue and yellow go great together, too. It is beautiful.

Problems with this design:
1. The eagle is too "busy". It should be simplified, maybe along the lines of the stylized eagle used by the USPS at one time.
2. The colors are too reminiscent of Bosnia and Herzegovina; they won't be readily adapted by citizens of the US for a national flag.
I see. I once tried the USPS eagle, but it was copyright infringement. I don't quite seem to understand how it is reminiscent of Bosnia and Herzegovina, though. Could you please explain that to me?

The colors, the basically triangular shape of the eagle. Those are probably the two main things any mouse had in mind.
I see how the colors are used, but the design still doesn't look like the flag of B&H. But if enough people think so, then I'll have to find another USA flag design.

yea i maybe you put in where the 50 stars are 1 big one to symbolize the d.c. and 50 stars in the bars...hmmm... thats a thinker...

agreed...i made a sketch but i trashed it... maybe something along the lines of an eagle in the midlle of a white white field with a thin blue and red stripe on either side or somthin.
Sounds similar to the flag of Iowa.
that is kind of what i based it on, just less busy.
It does remind me of some east European nations due to the eagle.
I think it looks kinda odd and ugly. Then again, admiring flags is an entirely subjective experience.
I personally really liked it... It used an awesome eagle design yet it seems simple. Great job
One of the worst flag designs I have seen. Its like you consciously ignored every fundamental of flag design, also, Yellow? wtf.
If the US ever adapted this Swedish colour themed flag the world would laugh it's collective asses off.
