Minnesota

Minnesota's flag has been disliked by many Minnesotans, and there are still many efforts in trying to change the flag.

This design, called the North Star flag, was designed by two Minnesotans and the flag is very unique. The North Star, the state symbol of Minnesota appears in the place of honor, the canton (the upper-left corner of a flag). The blue represents Minnesota's many lakes and rivers, the green represents Minnesota's green landscape, and the waves represent the state name, which translates to "beautiful water".
